Domain Money
Domain Money Advisors, a US financial planning platform and RIA, has added three certified financial planners to its roster of professionals. 

The firm, which now serves 1,000 clients, has added Alicija Dearth, Christine Damico and Michael LaCivita.

Dearth has almost two decades of experience at financial institutions such as Fidelity Investments, TIAA and Merrill Lynch.

Damico is a former adjunct professor at Virginia Tech. She specializes in working with women and those facing major life transitions – whether they are coping with the loss of a spouse, going through divorce or re-entering the workforce. 

LaCivita has more than a decade of experience in financial services. Most recently, he worked at Personal Capital, both before and after its merger with Empower. 

Domain was founded in 2022 by Adam Dell, former head of product at Marcus by Goldman Sachs, who led by the product team behind Marcus and Clarity Money. Domain connects Americans with CFPs who provide financial planning at a flat-rate fee.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Matt Schultz to its independent advisor channel, in Watford City, North Dakota.

Schultz is joining the team at Midwest Wealth as Western division president, serving clients including business owners, families, retirees and farmers. Previously, he was affiliated with LPL Financial where he managed about $160 million in client assets.

Schultz has more than a decade of financial services experience, as both a para-planner and financial advisor. He also volunteers for his local fire department.

Cresset
Cresset, a Chicago-headquartered multi-family office and private investment firm, has just hired Melissa Karetny as executive managing director and chief people officer.

Karetny brings more than 20 years of experience as a human resources leader, driving people strategy, innovation, and execution of coaching and talent development across the finance/banking, retail, eCommerce, technology and media sectors. Most recently, she completed a transition role with JP Morgan Chase supporting the integration of talent and human resources processes following the acquisition of First Republic Bank.

Karetny, who is based in San Francisco, will be a member of Cresset’s management committee, the firm said in a statement.

Baron Capital
US-based investment house Baron Capital has just appointed Jamie Stone as global head of product development. He brings over 35 years of experience on Wall Street to the position, including nearly 16 years at Baron Capital, the firm said in a statement.

In this role, Stone will work across Baron Capital to build processes to launch and create new products including new structures, strategies and geographically-specific capabilities. He will also evaluate and expand the prospects of existing products to enhance their growth opportunities.

In his previous role as director of ESG research, Stone created research processes to enhance the market appeal of funds. He will maintain these responsibilities, provide ESG research and support to analysts, portfolio managers and clients, the firm added.
